A PCB quotation looks like a single number, but it is the sum of a small set of charges that behave very differently as volume changes. Understanding that structure is the fastest way to compare two suppliers honestly, because most apparent price differences come from a different assumption rather than from a different factory. The Four Blocks of Every Quotation
Every quotation contains four blocks: engineering and tooling, material, processing and test. Engineering covers CAM work, a fabrication panel, a stencil if one is needed and any programming.
